No specific date has been given, but management SOOP, Nam Joo-management, hyuk announced on Monday, October 17, 2022, that the actor would enlist in the military by December. The confirmation from the agency said:

Although he must enlist in December, the exact date is still unknown because he has not yet received a draft notification.

The Start-Up actor is 28 years old and was born in 1994. All Korean men under the age of 30 who are physically fit are required by law to enlist in the military.

Nam Joo-hyuk is not the first Korean celebrity born in 1994 to enlist this year, though. Before the year is through, a number of celebrities, including Kim Min-gue, Song Kang, Jinyoung of GOT7, Kai, and Sehun of EXO, must enlist in the military. The 18-month military sentence for Nam will be imposed.

Presently, Nam Joo-hyuk is acting in the Disney+ series Vigilante. Additionally, the outstanding actor’s movie Remember will be released on October 26. By mid-November, after his current tasks are over, the actor plans to enlist in the military.
