Nia Long recently spoke out about rumors that her boyfriend Ime Udoka cheated on her with a coworker. The actress told People after Udoka was fired as head coach of the Boston Celtics:
“During this terrible time, the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and the community means so lot to me.”
She also asked for privacy during the hard times and promised to keep focusing on her children:
“I respectfully request that my privacy be respected while I comprehend the recent occurrences.” Above all, I am a mother who will continue to prioritize her children.”
Since 2015, Nia Long has been married to Ime Udoka, and they have two children together. Kez was born in 2011. He was her and Udoka’s son. She also has a son with actor Massai Dorsey, whose name is Massai Dorsey II. Only two weeks after moving to Boston with Long and their child, Udoka was caught cheating on Long.
It seems that the two were looking for a place to live in the city. TMZ says that the Celtics coach found out about the internal investigation into his affair in July 2022. On the other hand, Long seems to have found out about the scandal just a few days before it became public.

Before she got engaged to Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka, Nia Long was with actor Massai Dorsey. They met on the set of her NBC detective show Third Watch and started dating soon after.
Massai Dorsey II, Long’s first child with Dorsey, was born on November 26, 2000. Even though they were engaged at the time, they broke up after their son was born. Right now, Massai Dorsey II is 21 years old. Hollywood Life says that the child did not follow in his parent’s footsteps. Instead, he played baseball for Eastern Kentucky University in college.
Long told the public in 2010 that she was seeing Ime Udoka. In 2011, they had their first child, Kez Sunday Udoka. In 2015, they got married. After Kez was born, the couple released a statement in which they said they were “thrilled” to have a new family member:

On Thursday, September 22, 2022, the Boston Celtics announced that Ime Udoka would be kicked off the team right away for breaking “team rules.” They also said that the club was “evaluating” what would happen to him in the future.
Several news outlets had said that Udoka had a secret relationship with a female Celtics staff member. This is why the announcement was made. Later, the coach talked to Malika Andrews about what happened and said he was sorry for letting everyone down:
