Sean Kanan was born on November 2, 1966, in Ohio. He has been in a number of notable films and television series over the years.
He is well known for his performances in classic soap operas including General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as his part as Mike Barnes in The Karate Kid III.

Along with the teaser, Netflix’s official YouTube page issued a synopsis of the upcoming fifth season of the show, which reads:
“In the aftermath of the All Valley Tournament’s devastation, Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and seeking to make his ‘No Mercy’ brand of karate the only game in town. With Kreese imprisoned and Johnny Lawrence concentrated on correcting the devastation he’s made, Daniel LaRusso must turn to an old acquaintance for assistance.”
Cobra Kai season 5 will premiere on Netflix on September 9, 2022.
