Phil Carter and Jane Carter, a British couple, captured a two-legged fox in their garden, which went viral on the internet.
The Derbyshire couple posted a rare video of a fox that has acclimated to life on two legs after hanging out in their garden for a while.
While foxes are normally shy and seek to avoid humans, the bold intruder stayed in the garden for around 45 minutes.
Phil and Jane Carter are frequently visited by foxes, but this was the first time they had seen one like this.

Phil Carter, 71, and Jane Carter, 72, of Ilkeston, Derbyshire, were taken aback after observing a two-legged fox roaming about their garden.
The pair also astounded others by posting the footage, which quickly became an internet sensation.
The fox, who appeared to be seeking for food, visited Philip and Jane Carter’s home in Ilkeston. When they observed the bushy-tailed monster walking about their garden, they were both present.
The animal, which had only two front legs, walked about the yard sniffing and scooping up some meat before taking off like a rocket.
The fox can be seen in the video balancing on two legs with its tail up in the air as it explores the outdoors. Phil observed the animal using its tail to balance its body.
According to the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, the fox may have adapted to life on two legs.
Phil Carter and Jane Carter’s Reaction to a Viral Internet Video
“My wife shouted to me to come to the window quickly because I would not believe what I am about to see,” business owner Philip Carter told Derbyshire Live.
Jane asked him to quickly get his phone and record the weird animal.
“It [the fox] stayed for about 45 minutes.” When we tried to feed it, it raced away, but it returned to get the food,” Phil explained.
“At one point, the fox ran vertically, straight up to the gate.” You’d never believe it unless you saw it. It’s incredible.”
Mr. Carter stated that the unusual creature came in their garden at 3 p.m. on December 17, as they were finishing up putting up their Christmas tree.
He noted that, while they had spotted foxes in the region before, they had never seen one like that.
Mrs. Carter has become so fond of having foxes in their garden that she has played with cubs when they come to visit in the spring.
“It completely blew my head. It was strange to see him [the fox] go vertical with his tail, forward with his head, and go away like that. And when he fled. “I’ve never seen anything move so quickly,” Phil stated.
He also mentioned that he may know where it is but does not want to disturb it.
Furthermore, Phil stated that he had not seen the fox since its emergence in mid-December, but that the pair had lately been away.
Phil and Jane weren’t the only ones who were taken aback. Derbyshire Wildlife Trust reported that they had never seen anything like this before in the wild.
Fortunately, the fox appears to be in good health and has adapted well to life on two legs.
