On November 11, 2022, Play-Doh Squished will be made available. Thus, fresh episodes will be made available every Friday. The family competition series will be hosted by Sarah Hyland from Modern Family. The teams are required to complete several play-doh-based tasks each week as the centerpiece of the entire program.
In December of last year, the show aired one episode as a Christmas special. The entire Winter Wonderlands have to be built by the two competing teams out of Play-Doh. Here is the official Play-Doh Squished Season 1 synopsis:
Three teams of joyous adults and kids compete in the ultimate holiday competition, going “doh-to-doh.” The teams engage in two physical challenges that lead up to a competition where they must use Play-Doh to design immersive Winter Wonderlands! One team will ultimately receive a significant award, while the creations of the other teams will be SQUISHED! “The host is Sarah Hyland.”
Introducing Sarah Hyland, host of Play-Doh Squished
Haley Dunphy, a character on the popular comedy Modern Family, helped Sarah Hyland gain notoriety. She was chosen to host the upcoming Amazon Freevee series in addition to serving as Love Island USA’s presenter in July of this year.
Sarah is more than just a Play-Doh Squished presenter. She serves as a judge and one of the competition’s executive producers. Wells Adams, Sarah’s longtime love, and she recently got married. The couple wed this year in August.
Who are the additional judges for the show, besides Sarah?
Each week, one guest judge will appear on the show with Sarah. One of the judges will be Julie Bowen, who played Sarah’s mother on Modern Family. In one of the episodes, Sarah’s husband Wells Adams will also makes an appearance as a judge.
In addition to them, the show will feature Stephen “tWitch” Boss, D’Arcy Carden, “Young Dylan” Gilmer, Tony Hale, Chloe Kim, Marshawn Lynch, Alyssa Milano, Madison Pettis, Jay Pharoah, Jaime Pressly, Francia Raisa, Rob Riggle, and Kristen Schaal.
In addition to the celebrity judges, Jason Loik, a Play-Doh expert, will be with Sarah. Artist Gil Grimmett and sculptor Alexandra Nechita will serve as additional judges for the program.
What can viewers expect from the Amazon Freevee series’ first season?
Three teams of kids and adults will compete in Play-Doh Squished in a range of challenges meant to test their originality, creativity, and quickness. Each episode will entail them using Play-Doh to create an incredible universe. Along with that, the kids will have to engage in obstacle courses. One team will be proclaimed the Play-Doh champions at the end of each episode, while the opposing team will be “squished.”
