Blanca Soto, Edith Gonzalez, Bright Star, Thalia, Susana Gonzalez, Adela Noriega, Silvia Navarro, Gaby Spanic, and Aracely Arambula. The preceding list implies he is straight, but there have been rumors that Colunga is gay.
In 1995, an interviewer named Adolfo questioned his sexual orientation of Colunga. Gay… Has someone ever asked you directly about your sexual orientation? Yes, no one has personally asked me, the actor confirmed.
He continued,
“Whether you directly ask me if I am homosexual or not, I will assure you that I am not. I will certainly react. If I was homosexual, I would agree. If not, I will decline.”
There, Colunga played it safe, although homosexual suppositions regarding the actor continue to this day.
Blanca Soto reportedly serves as his wife
The longest-running rumor about Colunga is that he is dating Blanca Soto. Their appearance in the Mexican soap drama Porque el amor manda fuelled rumors about their relationship.
The well-known actress Carmen Salinas confirmed that they are in a relationship in real life. Even after many years, the allegations linger, affording them much more credibility than the charges linking him to other women.
Following Carmen Salinas’ allegation that Soto and Colunga are a couple, writer Maxine Woodside indicated that they are cohabitating in Miami and that their connection has been ongoing for some time.
The suspicions were fanned further when the couple was spotted kissing in public after their 2016 appearance in Porque El Amor Manda. IMDb biographies for Colunga and Soto indicate that they’ve been married since 2019.
None of them, however, has verified the marriage. People magazine disclosed in January 2020 that the actor was unmarried, therefore explaining why he has not yet established a family.
According to the story, Colunga stated in an interview with the television program Un Nuevo Da that he places a high emphasis on marriage.
