Rhea Seehorn will star in the next Apple TV+ series created by Vince Gilligan.
According to Deadline, Seehorn will feature in the forthcoming Apple TV+ series, which is described as a “genre-blending, realistic drama.” According to reports, Sony Pictures Television is supporting the production.
The project will be executive produced by High Bridge Productions, and Giligan will also serve as the showrunner. Additionally, Jeff Frost and Diane Mercer are executive producers. Jenn Carroll is the producer of the show.
Vince Giligan stated (via Deadline) on the project’s concept and Rhea Seehorn’s casting:
“After 15 years of writing antiheroes, I decided to take a break… Who could possibly be more valiant than Rhea Seehorn? It’s about time she had her own program, and I’m honored to be collaborating with her on it.”
He proceeded:
“What perfect symmetry to be reunited with Zack Van Amburg, Jamie Erlicht, and Chris Parnell! Jamie and Zack were the first folks to say yes to Breaking Bad all those years ago. Apple has created a wonderful team, and my Sony Pictures Television colleagues and I are pleased to collaborate with them.”
Although nothing is known about the series or Rhea Seehorn’s involvement, it is anticipated that it will differ from Vince’s previous work, which centered on crime and drugs.
It is rumored to have a similar tone to The Twilight Zone, with a focus on the individual. Viewers can anticipate a conceptually intricate drama with a touch of classic Gilligan humor.
