Gordon published Rock Billy Boogie the following year, and then Bad Boy the following year. Are You Gonna Be The One, his final album with the company, was released in 1981.

Robert Gordon went internationally in the 1990s with Chris Spedding after touring with Danny Gatton in the early 1980s. In 2005, he went on tour with Spedding, and their own label released the best songs from those shows.

They also collaborated with the Jordanaires to create an album for the 30th anniversary of Presley’s passing that featured 15 of his songs.

Glen Matlock, Slim Jim Phantom, and Marco DiMaggio’s band were all on tour with Robert at the same time. His following record, I’m Coming Home, was made available in June 2014.

He had an appearance in the 1981 motorcycle gangster movie The Loveless. Later, he appeared frequently on television, especially on the well-liked comedy show SCTV. His final album, Hellafied, is scheduled to be released on November 25th.
