2023: Snoop Dogg Arrested and Mugshot News
It seems that being famous and affluent does not exempt you from accountability if you use illegal substances!
During the weekend, Snoop Dogg was taken into custody on his tour bus for marijuana possession at a border patrol station in Sierra Blanca.
The rapper reportedly tried to hide his pill bottle—which included many joints—in the trash basket of the bus washroom, but Texas’ best police canines were able to sniff out his secret stash.
Oddly, when these same police officers in the same tiny Texas town had arrested Willie Nelson on similar drug-related charges, Snoop openly complained about them.
Even though Snoop had a legitimate prescription in California, he admitted the drugs were his. Texas, meanwhile, maintains a zero-tolerance attitude on the possession of any illicit substances.
Is He Arrested?
Snoop Dog, who has been well-known for a while, has openly used marijuana. How come he hasn’t been arrested more times for this?
Given that marijuana was illegal practically everywhere until recently, how come he hasn’t been charged with drug possession?
Given that the image of a stone-cold stoner is the basis of his brand, he might argue that any images or videos of him using marijuana were created for entertainment or promotional purposes.
If he were to be captured in person, the only way he could be prosecuted is if a police officer confronts a rich, gang-affiliated media celebrity.
This greatly reduces the likelihood of being arrested when compared to the average individual.
Snoop Dogg Is Giving Up Smoking Snoop Dogg seems to be giving up smoking for good. The well-known rapper declared his decision to stop smoking on social media.
The statement reads, “After much thought and discussion with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoking.” Please respect my privacy right now.
There is a strong correlation between smoking and the Doggfather’s professional life. He has made no secret of his disapproval of marijuana usage and has referred to the substance in a number of his songs.
Snoop’s announcement surprised a lot of his followers, but there was also positive comment in postings that received over a million reactions.
He refrained from immediately providing a reason for his resignation.
