In October 2022, Gaidajenko tripped while practicing lifting Mazingue. Mazingue struck her head on the ice, suffering a skull fracture and cerebral bleeding. She needed to get to the hospital right away.
The damage was so severe that it needed months of physiotherapy to recover. Mazingue eventually got the get-ahead to go back on the ice in January 2023 when she began weeping.

As she said, as long as you have the resolve to fight for anything, nothing is impossible.
