In the forthcoming reincarnation drama Reborn Rich, Song Joong-ki reprises his role as an antihero. The trailer for Reborn Rich, starring Song Joong-ki, Shin Hyun-been, and Lee Sung-min, was published on October 14 by JTBC.
The drama Reborn Rich by Song Joong-ki explores themes of rebirth and retribution. Based on the web novel, the tale is set in the 1980s and revolves around Yoon Hyun-woo, the secretary of a chaebol family, and his desire for revenge against the family for which he works.
The secretary’s desire for vengeance resurrects him in his next life, and he is born into the same family as their youngest son, sworn to punish those who caused him pain in his previous existence.
The teaser also questions the motivations of the protagonist.

Song Joong-ki, the youngest son of a wealthy family, conceals his intentions in Reborn Rich.
Yoon Hyun-woo, the faithful secretary of the Sunyang Group family, is portrayed by Song Joong-ki. He gets crushed to death by a bus. Before his death, he was also implicated in the company’s misappropriation.
Betrayed, he is reincarnated as the youngest son of the family, Jin Do-joon, and swears vengeance on those who have mistreated him. He has a secret plan to eliminate the Sunyang Organization in retaliation for their assault.
The drama was written by Kim Tae-hee (not to be confused with the actress of the same name) and a new writer named Jang Eun-Jae.
Prior to Designated Survivor: 60 Days, Kim Tae-hee penned Sungkyunkwan Scandal. Fans have flocked to social media to express their eagerness to see Song Joong-ki resume his role as an anti-hero.

The teaser creates a tense atmosphere in which each cast member communicates their most profound emotions. The legendary actor Lee Sung-min will portray Jin Yang-Chul, the CEO of Sunyang Group.

Shin Hyun-been of Hospital Playlist fame will portray anti-corruption investigation prosecutor Seo Min-young, whose legal family is well-known.
She is a Sunyang Group adversary who is expected to play a crucial role in exposing their heinous deeds to the general public. She has received the moniker “Dark Reaper of the Sunyang Gang,” which is not surprising.

The poster for Song Joong-upcoming ki’s drama will feature all fourteen members of the Sunyang family. In the poster, all of the family members, spanning multiple generations, are seated together, yet one figure is colored differently.
Jin Do-joon, the youngest son of the family, is the reincarnation of their secretary, Yoon Hyun-woo. Underneath the poster, the sentence “Reborn as the lineage of the family that murdered me” piques the interest of viewers.
