Steven Crowder

A popular interview with Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake led to the two-week suspension of Steven Crowder, a YouTuber, and podcaster, from the platform.

Later, the host of Louder with Crowder addressed the limitation of other social media platforms. Supporters expected his response after Steven Crowder’s suspension.

A few hours later, the social media sensation switched to Twitter and Instagram to talk about the abrupt platform closure. On August 18, Crowder said on Twitter that YouTube has discontinued the podcast following their talk with Kari Lake. The podcast presenter said, “Because f**k YouTube, I’ll interview her again.” Along with the video, he tweeted the following:

“We’ve been stopped, not because of anything I said, but because of what Kari Lake, Arizona’s next governor, stated about election integrity,” her recent triumph in the primary election?

She is extreme, you are extreme, according to YouTube, therefore let’s all be extreme people exclusively on Rumble and MugClub. You don’t have to win every debate; all you need to do is make them regret their decision. Let’s make them regret their decision to choose you now.

It’s important to note that his channel has now removed the interview with Kari Lake. Steven Crowder has been prohibited from posting for the next two weeks even though his channel is still active on the website.

Lake stated that she will look into claims of electoral fraud in the 2020 presidential election during an appearance with Louder with Crowder. The GOP also categorically stated,

This was about her intention to address the persistent problem of illegal immigration and the rise of drug gangs in the nation. She said the following in the interview:

We are detonating bombs to destroy drug tunnels. We won’t just drop a tiny bit of concrete in there and hope that they can jackhammer it out and start working again. And we are going after these cartels.

In a tweet, Steven Crowder criticized the video-sharing website for “suppressing political dialogue.” Additionally, he shared a screenshot of a YouTube explanation for the removal of the podcast. It read:

After reviewing your post, our staff regrettably informs you that we believe it violates our policy against spreading false information. The following YouTube videos have been removed: Podcast installment: Along with details on the Trump raid, Kari Lake is a special guest. Louder makes me speak out more.

The Google-owned platform made the declaration in response to Kari Lake’s comments about her intentions to look into potential voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

The entire interview has been removed from the channel, but a three-minute segment of the podcast episode is still accessible. Lake also pledges to dispatch National Guards to stop the immigration influx. Following the YouTube suspension, Crowder announced that he would be talking about the topic in-depth at 10 a.m. EST/7 a.m. PST on Rumble and Mug Club.
