“Sweet Tooth” Season 2 Is Set To Premiere On Netflix

Sweet Tooth

Sweet Tooth Season 2 will be available on Netflix next month. Jim Mickle created Season 1 of the TV show, which is based on Jeff Lemire’s comic book of the same name.

He will also return for Season 2. Netflix released the first season of the epic drama on June 4, 2021, and it was revived for a second season a month later. Sweet Tooth Season 2 has yet to be previewed, and fans are excited to see what it has in store for them. Nonso Anozie as Tommy Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Aditya Singh, and Christian Convery as Gus are among the returning cast members for Season 2. Fans are now looking forward to the show’s second episode, which will air on Netflix on April 27, 2023.

Season 2 of Sweet Appetite will feature eight episodes

While sharing an update about the upcoming season along with several first-look photos, the series’ social media accounts wrote:

“Please, all mixes. We’ve arrived! Sweet Appetite Season 2 will be available on Netflix exclusively on April 27.”

Gus was imprisoned in an abandoned menagerie by the Last Men at the end of the first season. The Last Men are a militia group led by the evil General Abbot (Neil Sandilands). Gus (Christian Convery) decides to team up with Dr. Singh to defend his friends in season 2, “beginning a grim voyage into his beginnings and his mother Birdie’s (Amy Seimetz) involvement in the events leading up to The Great Collapse.”

To be sure, the second season will have eight segments, all of which are expected to be released on the same day as the first. The following is a synopsis of the upcoming season, as provided by the OTT behemoth:

“As a new wave of Infected attacks, Gus and a group of fellow hybrids are held captive by General Abbot (Neil Sandilands) and the Last Men. The children are used as evidence in the trials of prisoner Dr. Aditya Singh, who is rushing to save his sick wife Rani (Aliza Vellani) in order to gain control.”

Aside from the previously mentioned characters, the Sweet Appetite season 2 ensemble also includes:

  • Naledi Murray as Wendy
  • Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. as Teddy Turtle
  • Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear
  • Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbot
  • Yonas Kibreab as Finn Fox

Meanwhile, the series will be narrated by two-time Golden Globe winner James Brolin. Season 2’s crew will be based in Warkworth and Auckland, New Zealand, from January to May 2022. The only location for Season 1 filming was also in the country.
