Christian LaCour was a 20-year-old man from Farmersville who lost his life on 6 May 2023 in the Allen Premium Outlets mass shooting. LaCour’s grandmother, Sandra Montgomery, confirmed her “beautiful grandson” was one among the deceased and grieved the heartbreaking loss. The young man’s family was horrified when they couldn’t contact him after hearing about the tragedy. Sadly, they lost their dear family member.
Montgomery stated on Facebook that “Christian LaCour was the security guard who died in the shooting at Allen, Texas.” He was 22 years old and had ambitions and objectives for the future. He was such a gorgeous soul.
The distraught grandma continued, “I was so happy to see him two weeks ago and proud of him.”
His mother, Kellie Smith, the sister-in-law of Christian LaCour, called him a “sweet young boy” who grew up to be a “lovely gentleman.” Kellie also said that his terrible death has saddened the whole family. Words can’t adequately describe the suffering that LaCour’s family is going through, Kellie wrote. She said, “There will always be a void.”

According to CBS News, LaCour’s grandma was able to speak with Brianna Smith but was unable to do so with Christian, the security officer who was on duty. It seems that Brianna Smith was nearby on Saturday afternoon when the horrible event took place.

Texas Mall Released a Public Statement
The mall stated after the massacre saying they were appalled by the tragedy at Allen Premium Outlets and disturbed by the continued prevalence of gun violence in their country.
“We are sending our love and prayers to the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this terrible atrocity. The heroic actions of the Allen police officer and the help of other first responders are appreciated.
Allen, which is about 25 minutes drive north of Dallas, is where the mall sits. A startling video taken in the parking lot of the mall shows a guy getting out of a gray automobile while clad in military gear and equipping himself with an AR-15-style rifle.
