Thais Baker was a well-known American personality. She was best known as the wife of Fred Couples, who was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2013 after winning 15 PGA Tours, three European Tours, and the 1992 Masters.

These Baker and Fred Couples were married. Thais Baker, the couple’s estranged second wife, died of breast cancer on February 17, 2009. They were married in 1998 and had no children. The couple lives in Newport Beach, California.
