On Monday, June 26, 2023, at 9 p.m. ET, ABC will premiere The Bachelorette season 20. Charity Lawson will star as the primary cast member.
25 single men will be featured during this journey, and at the end of The Bachelorette, Charity Lawson will pick just one. She was born in Columbus, Georgia, and works as a child and family therapist. Charity took part in season 27 of The Bachelor before but was unsuccessful in finding a life partner.
Zach Shallcross and Charity had a wonderful relationship on the program, but Zach connected with Kaity Biggar even more, which resulted in their engagement at the end of the season. Kaity Biggar and Zach Biggar are still together as of right now. Now Charity Lawson has another opportunity to find her dream partner.
After Jesse Palmer, the show’s host, approached Charity about the opportunity during one of The Bachelor Season 27 episodes, Lawson was named The Bachelorette for Season 20. Season 20 of The Bachelorette will be the same as the previous one. In order to decide who she wants to pursue further and who she does not, Charity will develop relationships with each of the men on the show with the help of each episode of The Bachelorette season 20.
As in previous seasons, Jesse Palmer will serve as the program’s host and counsel Charity on her best course of action. The season will also feature competition from John Buresh, Joe Menzia, Joey Graziadei, Adrian Hassan, Chris Spell, Brayden Bowers, Caleb Arthur, Caleb Balgaard, Dotun Olubeko, and Aaron Bryant.
In addition to John Henry Spurlock, other actors that feature include Josh Young, Kaleb Kim, Khalid Hassan, Nicholas “Nic” Barber, Peter Cappio, Sean McLaughlin, Spencer Storbeck, Tanner Courtad, Taylor Pegg, Warwick Reider, and Xavier Bonner. On the next new season of The Bachelorette, Charity is desperate to find a husband, and she is unprepared for any turmoil.
Fans can look forward to a lot from the show’s 20th season based on the Instagram teaser. The movie first showed how Charity Lawson was selected for this season, then showed her joyful response. Charities assert:
I’m here to look for my husband, you know. “I’m entering with an open heart.”
As more men entered the stage, two scenes with kissing and 25 men screaming her name were performed. This season will be filled with drama and love, as the trailer suggests. Additionally, Charity has been known to cry while saying the following:

20th season of The Bachelorette Donation Lawson
In a recent interview, Charity Lawson expressed her desire to participate in the program and find her ideal partner. She said, to wit:
“When I was told, I had to check again. Are you certain that your name was called? I queried. I found it tough to accept it. Sincerely, I found it hard to believe. I was feeling every one of these things. It was a once-in-a-lifetime encounter, so I was both thrilled and terrified. I imagined that hearing my name yelled would be amazing.
Additionally, Charity said:
I am the second monoracial African American woman to have the chance to find love and the fourth woman of color to hold this position. Although it is my love journey, it is bigger than me. We are not playing games, and I need a partner that is assured and certain of their goals.
The next season of The Bachelorette will premiere on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
