Their romantic life of Conrad will change in the upcoming season of FOX’s The Resident.
The contentious medical drama, which was produced by Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore, and Roshan Sethi, follows doctors and nurses at Chastain Memorial Hospital as they deal with both personal and work-related issues while battling for the health of their patients. The first episode of Season 6 of FOX’s The Resident, titled Two Hearts, will air on Wednesday, September 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Executive producers include Todd Harthan, Antoine Fuqua, Phillip Noyce, Oly Obst, David Boorstein, and Amy Holden Jones.
Conrad makes a significant decision, Devon conducts his clinical trials at Chastain, and the doctors work together to find a solution when Padma’s pregnancy takes a dangerous turn.

On May 17, 2022, the All Neon Moon Resident season 5 finale aired. It was written by Amy Holden Jones and Andrew Chapman, and it was directed by Rob Corn. A flashback to the first time Conrad and Nic hired Marion to watch Gigi while they went on a date opened the show.
While Devon had opted to go, Irving made an effort to communicate with Leela. A pregnant woman with a little child who appeared to have pulmonary edema arrived. Her heart couldn’t pump enough blood for her and the baby since she had heart failure.
But, the doctors had a risky plan that was nearly guaranteed to fail and result in the death of the expectant mother and/or her unborn child. To find out if Padma was pregnant, Leela and Padma visited the doctor, where they learned that she was.
After being freed, Cade visited her father, who also wanted to move on after his accident. Conrad wanted Ian to be checked further because he thought he might have an ulcer. He then talked to Winston about Nic and his sadness because he had had a similar situation with his girlfriend. He gave him the advice to treasure the memories.
When Cade discovered that her father had pancreatic cancer—a condition that no one had ever heard of—they had to operate on him because Bell was the only one qualified to treat it.
Billie had a flare-up in the interim, but his vision was undamaged, so he was permitted to enter the operating room. AJ and Devon proposed aborting the pregnancy because Mrs. Alvarez’s condition led to mucositis, which prevented her heart from beating for two days. Yet, despite the risks and difficulties, the husband decided to put his wife on ECMO.
Conrad was confided in by Cade, and he comforted her by sharing memories of his father with her. He hugged Cade and thought about Nic’s recollections of him holding someone who thought he was holding someone else, and when he clarified, they talked about how much they loved each other.
Cade thanked Billie for saving her father and expressed hope that the cancer beat. The two then talked about how much they adored Conrad. Devon pushed Conrad to create new memories, and Conrad recalled how he had made Nic pledge that she would find love again if anything happened to him, and Nic reciprocated.
The sixth season of The Resident’s official trailer emerged last month, giving viewers a preview of what’s to come. The series will probably keep highlighting the everyday bravery of medical personnel. In the previous season, Conrad had to deal with life without his devoted wife Nic, and fathering their daughter alone.
He is, however, involved in a love triangle with Billie and Cade now that he is dating. Kit and Randolph just got engaged, while Devon and Leela recently got in touch again. The Resident’s sixth season debuts on FOX on Tuesday, September 20.
