Tim produced two more great albums for Diamante after a successful debut, Paradise in 1998 and Smile in 2000. A breakthrough came for him with his fourth album, This Is What I Hear, which was released on Liquid 8 Records in 2004.

He became a smooth jazz all-star in 2007 as a result of his No. 1-charting single Summer Groove, which also landed him a spot on the Guitars and Saxes Tour with prominent performers Kirk Whalum, Gerald Albright, and Jeff Golub.

Tim gradually completed his self-titled album, his sixth project, which Trippin’ n’ Rhythm Records released in 2008. After that, he won the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Smooth Jazz chart with Sweet Sundays.

His following success was greatly influenced by his hits High Def and Rapture.
