What you should know Regarding the new Reebok CEO
For more than three decades, Todd Krinsky has been employed by the sportswear manufacturer. At age 16, he started selling shoes after starting his profession in the mailroom. He was moved to the product development division where, as a basketball player and avid shoe collector with a penchant for selling footwear, he built shoes.
Before returning to America in 1999, he first traveled to Asia where he worked at a Korean R&D production facility to get manufacturing experience. He began working with Paul Fireman at the label in 2001 to create Youth Culture. He was given responsibility for managing the RBK music and basketball divisions. To inspire and connect with young people, he enlisted the aid of celebrities like 50 Cent and Jay-Z.
He most recently served as the label’s Vice President until being designated General Manager of the Performance Business Unit in 2018. Under his direction, Reebok’s classic business had double-digit annual growth.
The goal for Krinsky has been to establish and build upon his outstanding reputation in the fitness industry. For customers and buyers who are interested in both fashion and fitness, he strives to integrate exercise with better lifestyle characteristics.
At the label, Krinsky has held several executive positions, including those overseeing the Basketball, Cleated, and Training categories as well as the Sports and Entertainment Marketing and RBK divisions of the business. He attended Ithaca College from 1988 to 1992 before working for Reebok in the mail room.
Additionally, Krinsky oversaw the growth of Reebok’s Classics division, which was established with a focus on iconic models like the Club C and Classic Leather. Krinsky spoke about his new position with the corporation in a formal news release, stating,
“I am ecstatic to start my new job as CEO of a brand and company that I have had the honor of creating and growing for more than three decades,” the applicant exclaimed. Reebok’s dedication to innovation and authenticity impressed me when I first entered the building as an intern. I can’t wait to work with the entire Reebok team to reach the company’s full potential worldwide.
In his new position, Krinsky will continue to work from the company’s headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. He will answer to Marc Miller, the CEO of Sparc Group. Marc Miller offered his thoughts on the employment of Krinsky.
“As the Senior Leadership Team for the company grew, we concentrated on upholding Reebok’s core values.” Todd is a product visionary with extensive experience in the sports business, and we are sure that he will launch the company’s next phase of expansion.
Along with Krinsky, Sparc Group recently announced the appointment of two more people to its Senior Leadership Team. John Moore has been promoted to Senior Vice President of the United States Commercial Market at RDG, and Erika Swan has been appointed Senior Vice President of Global Operations and Sourcing.
