Evans has released six studio albums throughout his musical career: Even More with Epic Records in 2004, Letting Go with Integrity Music in 2006, The Bridge with EMI Gospel in 2006, Undisguised with INO Records in 2010, Home with Fair Trade Services in 2011, and Real Life/Real Worship with Fair Trade Services in 2014.
During the second season of N.B.C.’s The Voice, Evans took part. He sang “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye at the blind audition televised on February 20, 2012.
Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, and Blake Shelton, the other three competitors, chose not to take part in the blind audition, leaving Christina Aguilera as the sole performer.
He was automatically matched in the Battles round with Team Aguilera competitor Jesse Campbell.
They both sang “If I Ain’t Got You,” a song by Alicia Keys, on an episode that aired on March 5. Aguilera opted to keep Campbell after a contentious musical debate.
Because the “steal option” for more judges hadn’t yet been included in the program, Evans was disqualified from the competition.

On July 14, 1978, Evans was born in Dallas, Texas. In terms of his parents, Tony Evans Jr. is the son of Lois Evans and Dr. Tony Evans.
His Father is the head pastor of Dallas’ Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and a well-known personality on Christian radio.
He has one brother, Jonathan, and two sisters, Chrystal and Priscilla, the latter of whom is a best-selling novelist.
Anthony Tyrone “Tony” Evans, his father, is an author, a speaker for the American Christian community, and a nationally syndicated radio and television presenter in the United States.
Evans is the senior pastor of the approximately 9,500-member Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas.
Evans was married to the late Lois Irene Evans. They have four kids together: Chrystal, Priscilla, Anthony Jr., and Jonathan. They also have 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His oldest kid, Chrystal Hurst, is a worship leader, Christian speaker, and writer. She and her father co-authored the book Kingdom Woman. She is the author of several books, including She’s Still There and Show Up For Your Life.

Epic Records released Evans’ debut album, Even More, on June 8, 2004.
The subsequent second studio album, Letting Go with Integrity Music, was made available on March 7, 2006. His third studio album, The Bridge, was scheduled for release on the EMI Gospel label on June 10, 2008.
Evans’ first-holiday album with INO, What Christmas Means, was made available on October 2, 2009.
Tony’s fourth studio album, Undisguised, was released on January 26, 2010, through INO Records (since renamed Fair Trade Services).
Evans released his Home, the title of his fifth studio album, through Fair Trade Services on November 15, 2011.
Real Life/Real Worship with Fair Trade Services, Evans’ sixth studio album, was released on April 8, 2014, following the finale of The Voice.
In terms of album sales, it ended up being his most successful record. According to the Billboard Hot 200, the album debuted at number 60 on the Billboard charts for the week of April 26, 2014.
The album debuted on the Top Christian Albums list the following week at number four. The album’s sales placement on the Top Gospel Albums list was second.
