Who is Travis Dye?
Travis Dye is a young football player who is still in college but is establishing a name for himself. He became first Oregon running back since 2012 to score four touchdowns in a season, including two against Washington State. Since 2014, Dye has been the only UO player to rush for 70 yards and catch for 70 yards in the same game.

Dye was named Big 8th League Offensive Player of the Year in 2017 after rushing for 2,383 yards on 255 attempts and scoring 34 touchdowns. As a rookie in 2018, he broke Oregon State’s single-game rushing record with 199 yards on 33 carries. Travis was ranked 13th in the Pac-12 as a sophomore in 2019, with 658 yards rushing on 106 carries. Dye appeared in all seven Ducks games during the Covid times in the year 2020, starting six of them. He began his professional career as a freshman. In his rookie season, Dye had 92 tackles, 6.5 sacks, and one interception.
In 2017, Dye and his team won three Second-Team All-Pac-12 Championships. During his college career, Dye led a team to 107 tackles, four sacks, and one interception in this league. The dye will be ineligible for the 2022 NFL Draft. He has until February 4 to opt-out of the draught if he wants to return to UO. Dye had 18 carries for 153 yards and a touchdown and five receptions for 28 yards for the No. 14 Oregon Ducks in a 47-32 loss to No. 16 Oklahoma on Wednesday night at the Alamodome. He broke the 3,000-yard mark for his career with a six-year run on third-and-three in the first quarter.
