Cate revealed that she had a brain injury in a chainsaw accident in her house in 2020.

The 51-year-old two-time Oscar winner got a “small nick to the head” while operating the electric saw, but no serious injuries were sustained.

Last week, former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard casually mentioned her near-death experience in a podcast interview.

Cate said on Instagram that she sustained a head injury in her House in 2020.
According to DailyMail, she also briefly addressed the occurrence, expressing Gillard that it was not enjoyable.

She was fine, according to an actress. “I had a minor chainsaw mishap, which sounds exciting but was not. I’m fine, except for a slight head injury.”

The two-time Oscar winner recently claimed in an extremely candid television interview that she will never work again and is deeply homesick.

Blanchett is anticipated to win another Oscar for her most recent performance, but she has hinted that it may be her last in a major motion film.

Following her award-winning performance in the upcoming psychological drama Tár, the Australian actress stationed in Los Angeles told The Sunday Project that she does not “want to work again” and is “profoundly homesick.”

She was still processing the emotional toll that the rigorous film, in which she plays the fake Lydia Tár, a world-renowned pianist, had taken on her.

Furthermore, Blanchett, who has been in show business for three decades, stated that she has felt tremendously homesick for the previous four years since coming to Los Angeles in 2015 with her husband, Andrew Upton, and their four children.
