Carly Cassady is a native of Lenexa, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. She was raised in all types of weather, but she has never witnessed a tornado up close. She intends to pursue tornadoes one day.
While attending the University of Memphis in Tennessee and playing soccer for four years, she was a member of the women’s team that claimed the conference championship.
Carly earned a Bachelor of Science in geography with a concentration in meteorology and a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism and Spanish.
Carly continues to pursue her Certified Broadcast Meteorologist certification by completing online classes at Mississippi State. She began her career in Twin Falls, Idaho, as a reporter and weekend meteorologist for KMVT.
Later, she worked at KBTX Media as a meteorologist from February 2016 to April 2018. She served as a meteorologist for WXII12 News from June 2018 until July 2020.

Where Does Carly Cassady Plan to Go?
Carly mentioned that this was her final week at FOX31/CH2 and in television news as she imparted this melancholy information.
This has been her ideal employment since she was 7 years old, and she is overjoyed to have obtained it.
However, as her ambitions, values, and sense of self-worth evolve, she must confess that she is even more proud of her for listening to and trusting her inner voice.
Everyone who helped her get here and get through this transition is greatly appreciated. All the people they’ve met and the relationships they’ve forged have been the best part of this experience.
She expressed delight at remaining in Denver and promised to disclose more during her August 5 finale performances. She has not yet made her destination clear, but we will be notified as soon as she does.
Will the Meteorologist depart Fox 31 KDVR?
Yes, she has announced her departure from Fox 31 on her Facebook page. She began her career in Twin Falls, Idaho, as a reporter and weekend meteorologist for KMVT.
In order to obtain the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist certification, she also completed additional online courses at Mississippi State.
Carly then worked for over two years at KBTX in College Station, Texas. Carly moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she served as the weekend morning meteorologist for WXII.
In February 2019, Carly obtained CBM Seal No. 816. The name of Carly’s companion is Molly. She was adopted in 2015 from the Dalmatian Rescue of Colorado in Fort Collins.
Together, they appreciate hiking and are anxious to explore Colorado’s paths. Carly is anxious to predict Denver’s ever-changing weather.
She has family here and has previously vacationed and played soccer in Denver, Steamboat, Vail, and the adjacent areas, but she is thrilled to finally call these places her own.
Carly achieved her goal and has eight years of experience as an accomplished meteorologist and communications expert. She is proficient in public speaking, writing, content creation, and daily weather forecasting.
With a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Meteorology, Journalism/Broadcast from the University of Memphis, she has strong public and media relations.
