Multiple Michigan agencies are investigating what happened to three rappers who went missing ten days ago after a canceled performance at a club, according to Detroit Police.
The mother of one of the missing victims reported the missing person the next day and became very proactive in the investigation, searching for her vehicle through OnStar, according to Michael McGinnis, commander of significant crimes.
Montoya Givens, 31, Armani Kelly, 28, and Dante Wicker, 31, were all scheduled to perform at a Detroit club on January 21, according to McGinnis.
McGinnis stated that they were aware that the performance had been canceled and that they now had a slew of unanswered questions. He went on to say that by the early morning hours of January 22, all of their phones had stopped working.
