One such celebrity is Elisha Cuthbert, about whom many people still ponder, “What happened to Elisha Cuthbert?” What has become of her? She was predicted to become Hollywood’s next big female star since she appeared to possess the necessary qualities. However, she left the spotlight as soon as Cuthbert arrived and was unable to climb back to the top.
The Rise of Elisha Cuthbert to Notoriety
Cuthbert made his debut in the industry with the movie The Girl Next Door. The actress portrayed Danielle, a former porn star trying to escape her seedy past.
She gained a lot of admirers for her portrayal of the attractive neighbor girl and was dubbed “TV’s Most Beautiful Woman” at the time. After The Girl Next Door, Cuthbert went on to appear in the 2005 film adaptation of House of Wax and the 2007 movie Captivity.
She launched the decade with the three-season ABC television series Happy Endings. Despite receiving positive reviews and having a sizable fan base, the show was canceled. After that, the Captivity actress was barely visible to the audience.
The actress appears to be planning to return to the spotlight despite her absence. Cuthbert has lately been in movies including The Ranch on Netflix and Goon: Last of the Enforcers from 2017.
Before the Netflix series with Ashton Kutcher and Sam Elliott was canceled, she portrayed one of the stars in it. Although the actress’s Netflix career is over, she has no immediate intentions to slow down.
Along with hosting Canada’s Drag Race, she co-starred alongside Tony Hale in the movie Eat Wheaties! She is rumored to be going back to her horror origins with The Cellar, which is currently in post-production, for her upcoming ventures. She will also star in the heist thriller Bandit alongside Josh Duhamel and Mel Gibson. The action-launch thriller’s date, however, has not yet been set.
Elisha Cuthbert’s Charitable Deeds
The actress donates her time to charitable organizations while she is not engaged in a project. The actress has contributed to projects for the Special Olympics and its 5K virtual walk/run sporting competition. She has also supported the Enriching Lives Gala for a long time, which raises money for “grassroots programming, top-notch competitions, qualified coaches, and much more for athletes of all ages and abilities.”
In addition to supporting Special Olympics, the Happy Endings actor participates in Tim Hortons Camp Day, a fundraising event that strives to give children from low-income families transformative programs and life-changing skills.
She took part in a Tim Horton’s drive-through fundraiser in 2018. “Just in the hour I was here, so many people came by,” she told SaltWire. And because you’re just interacting with your neighborhood, it’s a great place to be.
Additionally, it is wonderful to be able to raise money for all of the camps. She continued by saying that she was honored to be a part of the event because it was a wonderful initiative and she was a mother herself.
