Michelle Oliver is leaving WDIV TV, but where is she going? She is reportedly quitting her work, although there is no evidence to support this claim.
At the highly regarded lifestyle show Live in the D, which airs weekdays at 10 a.m. on WDIV-TV 4, NBC, Oliver is the genius behind all things culinary.
Every Friday, on her popular Emmy-nominated series “Dine in the D,” she features a brand-new neighborhood restaurant.
The show’s resident gourmet, Oliver, also produces a biweekly magazine called Dine in the D, which is crammed with fantastic information on the Metro Detroit food scene.
Her job as a multi-media journalist not only showcases food but also methods that people may better their lives. Since beginning her career with Local 4 in 2013, she has covered the restaurant business.
Before entering the television industry, she worked in restaurants as a server and chef. Oliver is a native of Michigan and a Michigan State University Honors College alum.

This summer, she was asked “Why Detroit” a lot since she is from New York. She told me she loved New York, and I had a lot of almost supernatural images to back up my claim.
A city full of magnificent paradoxes, with unique restaurants along blocks upon blocks, possibilities hiding in the cracks of the pavement, and dazzling lights that glow late into the night.
It might be frightening yet exhilarating, desolate but friendly. Its personality is intriguing. When you break through that monotonous spell, you change as it molds itself around your own unique identity.
Detroit is Grit. It has an unwavering and unshakable nature. It takes off and doesn’t let go of obstacles. When people just see blight, they neglect to look for the fire.
There are plenty of opportunities, but not enough people to take advantage of them. She was completely captivated by this robust metropolis.
Because it had so much potential and enthusiasm written all over its history and projected into its future, it stood out from everything else.
