The father of Ana Walshe was not identified, although she was the daughter of Milanka Ljubicic and her mother.
Milanka broke her silence after Ana’s disappearance and provided insight into her state of mind just before she vanished.
She said to Fox News Digital that in a text message received on Christmas Day, her daughter asked her to come to Washington, D.C. from Serbia.
Milanka said that Ana pleaded with her mother. Come back tomorrow. It implied, she thought, that there had to be some issues.
She also said that her daughter had not given her a rationale for making such a last-minute request and that she was unable to make the trip.
She said in the Belgrade interview, “I have to get my medications and a thousand other things because I am 69 years old.”
Brian Walshe and Ana were wed, and their three children were boys, aged two to six.

Ana Walshe, the 47-year-old husband of Brian Walshe, is accused of killing her.
At his arraignment on Wednesday, January 18, a prosecutor said that Brian murdered and dismembered his wife Ana and disposed of the corpse in dumpsters.
The finding of Ana’s possessions and her blood in the trash served as evidence for that allegation. Authorities also discovered disturbing Google searches, matching DNA, and supporting surveillance video.
The next scheduled court date is February 9 for Brian of Cohasset. When Ana was reported missing earlier this month, he was already detained for deceiving the authorities.
On January 9, 2023, he was arraigned in Quincy District Court and entered a plea of not guilty to the allegation.
Prior to his wife going missing, Assistant District Attorney Lynn Beland said that Brian had purchased a tarp and cleaning items from a nearby home improvement store.
Beland claims that blood and a knife were discovered by investigators in the basement of their house.
