Madi Skinner Career
Madison attended Faith West Academy as a child in Katy, Texas. While in high school, she was named to PrepVollyball’s Top 50 Juniors list. In addition, in 2019, the high school volleyball team won the Girls Junior National Championship. For two years, the young athlete attended the University of Kentucky.
She announced her departure on Instagram. She described herself as “honored to have had the chance to wear blue for the past two years.” The outside hitter expressed gratitude to Kentucky Volleyball, her great teammates, and BBN for their love and support during her time with them.
During her time at Kentucky, she was selected AVCA Honorable Mention All-American twice and All-SEC twice. In her final season at Kentucky, the outside hitter averaged 3.78 kills per set and had a 282-hitting percentage. She also averaged 1.21 digs and 0.48 blocks per set.
Skinner was instrumental in Kentucky’s national championship victory as a freshman. In the NCAA tournament, Skinner averaged 3.1 kills per set. Madi also hit a season-high with 19 kills against Texas in the National Championship match.
