John Griffin entered a guilty plea in federal court to use interstate commerce to attract a kid in return for the dismissal of two further counts of enticing a juvenile that he had been charged with earlier this year. Griffin, of Stamford, Connecticut, allegedly contacted a lady online and persuaded her to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his $2.5 million Vermont cabin, where he had sexual relations with the kid.
Griffin paid the mother $3,000 to fly from Nevada to Boston, where he met them in a Tesla and drove them to his house in Ludlow, Vermont, where he encouraged the little girl to participate in illegal sexual conduct.
Heather Carriker, the mother, was also arrested and charged with child mistreatment and sexual assault. The former producer allegedly boasted of enticing youngsters as young as seven to his pad and urged other kids’ parents to send their girls to his House for “sexual subservience” instruction.
He told his parents that he thought all women should be sexually inferior to and submissive to males because “a woman is a woman regardless of her age,” according to the prosecution.
Who Is Allyson Griffin, John Griffin’s Wife?
The wife of the former CNN producer appears to be quite discreet about her personal life since she hasn’t shared much about herself to the public. Because of her husband’s horrible conduct, Allyson Griffin, the “John Griffin Wife,” has already filed for divorce, so we know she won’t be the “John Griffin Wife” for much longer.
The ex-wife of John Griffin petitions the court to keep his assets so that she might claim them in the case of a divorce. Allyson Griffin asked to “defend her interests” in a case launched against John Griffin by one of his alleged victims in Bridgeport Superior Court.
Allyson Griffin recently filed for divorce from her spouse in Stamford Superior Court. According to her request, she is concerned that the plaintiff in the case may demand the same assets from her husband that she is seeking in her divorce action.
A hearing on her application has been scheduled for April 7. According to Allyson Griffin’s attorney, Gary Cohen, the Griffin family’s worries should be kept as secret as possible. He refused to say anything else.
Is CNN Producer Now In Jail Or Prison?
Griffin, a father of three, first pleaded not guilty to three counts of enticing a minor after being arrested on December 10, 2021. CNN, where he had worked for around eight years, sacked him after his arrest, the network stated at the time.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 20 and faces a minimum of ten years in jail and a maximum of life in prison. He must also provide full reparation to the victims, with the amount established by the court.
Griffin is also facing a $250,000 fine and has agreed to relinquish his Tesla and give half of the proceeds from the sale of his Vermont ski house and Mercedes to the court registry. He’s also agreed to give up his Tesla. He’ll almost certainly be told to register as a sex offender and attend counseling.
