Young equestrian Bella Vita Bardot Boreanaz is better known as David Boreanaz’s daughter. On the Fox television crime procedural comedy-drama series Bones (2005–2017), her father portrayed FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth, a homicide investigator.

In the CBS military drama series SEAL Team, David is renowned for playing United States Navy SEAL Master Chief Special Warfare Operator Jason Hayes. Bella was born to Boreanaz and Jaime Bergman, a former Playboy member with whom David has been dating since 2001.

Although the majority of her father’s American ancestry originated in Pennsylvania and New York, three-quarters of her paternal family quickly migrated to Britain.
Half Italian and one-quarter Slovak make up Bella’s father. The latter third gradually brings Pennsylvania back and eventually results in German and Irish immigrants. Additionally, there are some indications of French and Swiss ancestry in Boreanaz.
Bella Vita Bardot Boreanaz, the couple’s daughter, was more difficult to conceive than their other children, according to David Boreanaz and his wife, who tried for about two years. The Buffalo-born actor stated in September 2009,
“Jaime is pregnant, the house is under construction, and I’m tearing my hair out. Due to the impending birth of the kid, I decided against attending Comic-Con. We just sit here and wait. Extremely nerve-wracking, but I’ve finally maddecidedat it will happen when it happens.
Additionally, David had to remain nearby in case Jaime went into labor while she was on bed rest. When the due date was approaching, Boreanaz once mentioned in an interview that he kept to a 20-mile radius. The former Men Don’t Tell extra prohibited himself from going any farther.
What Bella’s Name Means and What It Was Originally
Although her famous parents later changed it to Bella Vita Bardot Boreanaz, Bella’s original name was Bardot Vita Boreanaz. The incident that occurred two weeks before the birth of David and Jaime’s daughter inspired the choice of the middle name, Bardot.

David Boreanaz had previously seen a photograph of Brigitte Bardot taken by Douglas Kirkland in Spain in 1967. Just two weeks before Bardot was born on August 31st, the Douglas Kirkland photograph of the famous actress caught the attention of the Bones star, who later revealed this during an appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly.
According to Boreanaz, the image conveyed energy, and it was the substance of the picture that seemed to move him deeply. David recalled what happened and said,
“As I entered, I noticed that she was doing a small posture, which drew my attention…It kind of hit me hard because it was a reflective shot taken through a mirror and was quite a shot. EneThe energys the cause. That picture’s essence made me feel a little moved. I felt it deeply.”
In 2013, David claimed that Bella’s sense of adventure and playfulness frequently made him think of his ownldhood. At the time, Boreanaz characterized her daughter as quite extroverted and as the one who enjoyed jumping from one couch to another. Bella appembled a hurricane at that time.
David once said his daughter had genuinely turned into a daddy’s girl, which allowed her to get away with stuff.
When Bella was quite younger, she had some ballet lessons. Her older brother Jaden was also a high school ice hockey player at the time. She also used to ride huge horses and play softball.
Everything started in 2017 when Bella’s family leased Charm for her so she could practice jumping and dressage while learning to ride. She did, however, have a new horse named Romeo in 2019.
