The Covenant School, a Nashville Christian private school, was tragically attacked on March 27, 2023. Former student Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, shot and murdered three children and three staff members. The gunman was slain by police.
Evelyn was one of six persons the murderer shot; the school community prayed for their families. The motivation is unknown and the inquiry is continuing. The police shot the killer in the sport.

Eleanor and Evelyn were close sisters. After learning about the event, Eleanor lamented that she “does not want to be an only child.”Eleanor’s younger sister Evelyn was mentioned. No age was given for the sister. The victim’s elder sister may have been 12 or 13, and she and her younger sister were comparable in age in other respects.
One Evelyn neighbor told The Missourian, “She and her older sister would stage plays in the backyard. She was amazing,” The comment from Evelyn’s elder sister devastated many. Since the occurrence, several families have sent Evelyn’s family prayers and sympathies to help them cope.

Evelyn’s parents have been featured in numerous photos, and many people want to know more. One photo shows Dr. Michael Dieckhaus with one-year-old Evelyn.
The photographs are tragic since they lost their darling nine-year-old child. The school administration said that Katy, the victim’s mother, had participated in the children’s ministry and was renowned for her loving and devoted Christian family.
The neighborhood was devastated, so a local church planned a prayer vigil to provide solace. The declaration also advises that the community should turn its prayers and mourning into action.

Her Sunday School instructor called Evelyn “adorable”. The neighborhood is still hurting over Evelyn’s horrible murder.
The community also mourns nine-year-olds Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, as well as school personnel Cynthia Peak, Katherine Koonce, and Mike Hill. The tragedy has touched the whole town, and people are supporting one another.
