Peter Reith’s Cause of Death
On November 8, 2022, following a battle with Alzheimer’s disease, Peter Reith, a former Howard government minister and supporter of revamping labor relations, died away at age 72.
A family spokeswoman said on Tuesday night that Reith “passed peacefully” earlier on Tuesday afternoon.
Reith’s former ministerial assistant, Ian Hanke, issued the following statement: “It is with deep sadness that we confirm that after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s illness Peter Reith died peacefully in the afternoon of November 8, 2022.”
