Season 23 of “The Voice”

The Voice premieres on NBC on Monday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NBC every Monday and Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET. Each show will follow competitors as they compete for the grand prize of $100,000.

According to the season description on NBC:

“Chance the Rapper, a Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist, and platinum-selling singer-songwriter Niall Horan join returning teachers Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton in their search for and training the next vocal sensation. The rivalry is fiercer than ever as Shelton enters his final season.”

Initially, the candidates will hold secret tryouts in which the evaluators will only be able to hear the performer’s vocal and then decide whether or not to invite the competitor to join their squad for the following stages:

  • Battle Rounds
  • Knockouts
  • Playoffs
  • Live Performance Shows

If more than one evaluator wants the vocalist to join their team, the vocalist will select their own mentor. On Monday, March 6, NBC will reveal whether Kason Lester will be able to join the teams of any of The Voice mentors.
