The three appeared to have a good arrangement. Even the trio’s Christmas greetings were addressed to “Warren, Susie, and Astrid.” Some people contend that it was an open union. Warren famously told Time Magazine, “Susan put me together, and Astrid keeps me together.”
Contrarily, Warren and Astrid were together for 40 years before being married, in 2006. After a protracted struggle with cancer, Susan passed away two years prior to this.
