Although he is awaiting a murder trial, YFN Lucci wants to be let out of jail. The rapper is convinced he will pass away in prison.
According to recent court documents, Lucci claimed that a fellow prisoner stabbed him at the Fulton County Jail last month. He claimed to have heard there was a bounty for his head among the prisoners. The musician was allegedly stabbed in the back while having a video call outside, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
He said that another inmate used a homemade shank to stab him. The artist claimed that after the alleged stabbing incident on February 9, 2022, he was told there was a price on his head and feared for his life if he was still being held. Lucci has asked the court for bail so that he can be let out of custody.
Also, he declared that if necessary, he will submit to a 24-hour home arrest and wear a tracking device if released.
Atlanta, Georgia, issued arrest warrants for YFN Lucci in 2021. He was accused of a shooting in December 2020 that left one guy, age 28, dead and another injured.
He was accused of participating in illegal street gang activity, aggravated assault, and being a suspect in the shooting. The composer was detained on January 13, 2021, and turned himself into authorities. He was released on home arrest on February 8, 2021, following the payment of a $500,000 bail.
The 31-year-old is moreover one of 12 people charged in a 105-count RICO indictment. The following are the fees: Racketeering, violation of the state’s anti-gang law, and weapon possession while committing a crime Lucci belonged to a Bloods gang, the Atlanta Police Department claims. A Fulton County court denied him bail on June 1, 2021, after his attorneys refuted the charges.
