Nicolle was born in Orange County, California, on February 4th, 1972. As the oldest of four children, she grew up in Orinda, San Francisco. Her father was an antique dealer, and her mother was a teacher. Wallace first majored in mass communication at UC Berkeley before going on to Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism for his master’s degree.
Working on John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign caused Wallace’s political views to begin to shift. She had previously been a steadfast Republican, but she wasn’t a fan of several aspects of the 2008 campaign. Nicolle’s political views went throughout President Trump’s election campaign.
