- In 1990, Hedman lost to Rhian Speed in the Women’s World Masters final, which was her first appearance.

- She held the title of Women’s World Number 1 from 1994 to 1997 when her professional obligations forced her to give up darts. In 2002, Hedman made a comeback in the darts world with the Professional Darts
