Beginning on July 29, Season 2 of Hidden Celebrity Restoration will feature celebrities wanting to wow their loved ones with an impressive house repair.
One of the nine celebrities is the Michigan native and NBA player Devin Booker. He was also the first NBA player to debut at the age of 18 in league history.
There are seven more all-stars from different fields in addition to Devin Booker. They will all receive assistance from interior designer Sabrina Soto and TV personality and contractor Rob Mariano for home improvements. The latest season of Hidden Celebrity Renovation is hosted by Nischelle Turner as well.
Born in Michigan on October 30, 1996, Devin Booker primarily took after his father. An excellent young NBA player and Continental Basketball Association tour participant was his father.
Because his parents did not get married after Devin was born, he also used to visit his father throughout the summer. Devin’s father led a player’s lifestyle, which he also adopted.
The NBA player additionally attended Grandville High School, where his dad served as an assistant coach. Throughout high school, Devin played and improved steadily, grabbing everyone’s attention. Over the years, his father approached several NBA officials who were interested in signing him.
Subsequently, in 2013, he changed schools and proceeded to play NCAA basketball at the University of Kentucky. The University of Pikeville, Montana State, and Texas-Arlington were just a few of the elite collegiate teams that the Hidden Celebrity Renovation star had to compete against.
He was selected by the Phoenix Suns as the 13th overall pick in 2015 thanks to his stellar collegiate career. Also, he decided to forgo finishing his undergraduate degree to chase his NBA dream.
After playing in his first seven Summer League games, Devin Booker Leauge Booker proved his value by scoring at least 15 points in each contest. He had impressive games against the Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers, and Suns, but his 34-point effort against the Miami Heat was his best to date.
Devin Booker finished his rookie season as the fourth-youngest NBA player to achieve 1,000 points, averaging 13.8 points per game.
He also set a record by scoring 39 points in consecutive games in two historic contests against the Dallas Mavericks and the San Antonio Spurs. In addition, he came in fourth place in the 2016 “Rookie of the Year” competition. Yet, he received recognition when he was chosen to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
After scoring 31 points against the Milwaukee Bucks in February 2017, Devin became the youngest player in NBA history to score at least 20 points in 16 straight games, advancing his career graph.
He was also the third-youngest player in the NBA to reach 4,000 career points by March 2018. About his private life, various tabloids claim that he had a lot of romances while he was a college student. Season 2 of Secret Celebrity Renovation will premiere on July 29 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
