When Jason Ellis immigrated to the US at the age of 17, he began his professional skating career and eventually attained professional status. He skateboarded professionally for more than 20 years before giving it up in 2006. In 2001, he established the Guinness World Record for the biggest drop on a skateboard by diving into a 70-foot skateboard ramp.

The record held until 2006, when renowned skateboarder Danny Way shattered it. On February 6, 2009, he made his MMA debut against well-known fighter Tony Gianopulos, which he defeated via submission with a guillotine choke. He defeated renowned boxer, Gabe Rivas, with an Americana submission in his second fight.

He competed in the Lucas Oil SuperLite Series as a TV racer for Dethrone. He competed in a boxing match on July 14, 2012, against Gabe Ruediger, and won by knockout.

In the rematch, Jason also prevailed over Gabe Ruediger. He is the founding member and frontman of the rock group Taintstick in terms of his musical career. The band’s name was changed to Death! after their debut record, “Six Pounds of Sound,” was a commercial success. Death! Be damned!
