Lakiha Spicer: Facts And Her Relationship With Mike Tyson

Since 2009, Lakiha Spicer has been the wife of boxing legend Mike Tyson.

The former world heavyweight champion and Spicer have two children. At least one or two parts of the life of renowned boxer Mike Tyson are always worth discussing. The controversies are a comprehensive list of his in-ring and off-ring stories, both good and negative.

The article, on the other hand, will focus on his connection with one of his lovers, Lakiha Spicer, also known as Kiki Tyson. She is one of the few, if not the only, people who can take responsibility for saving Tyson from his state of despair and turning his life around.

Lakiha Spicer was still a teen when she met Tyson, who was already in his late twenties at the time.

Lakiha was 18 years old when she first met Iron Mike. Tyson, Rodney Tyson’s brother, on the other hand, was already 29 years old. According to the New York Post, Spicer met the ex-fighter while witnessing one of his boxing contests with her father, Shamsud din Ali.

Spicer was introduced to Mike by promoter Don King. However, King reportedly requested that Tyson stay away from Spicer.

Despite this, nothing major occurred between Tyson and Spicer shortly after their first meeting. After Lakiha turned 23, the two began dating. Tyson, on the other hand, was still the legal husband of his second wife, Monica Turner, at the time. Turner and Tyson split up in 2003. Mike allegedly had encounters with several other women during the time when his relationship with Kiki was just getting started. He previously had a marriage connection with Robin Givens.

Tyson has had relationships with a number of women, but Spicer is the only one he has been with the longest. However, the couple has split up multiple times. Lakiha admitted as much, but also stated that she could never truly get him out of her system. Kiki said in an interview that Tyson is the only guy with whom she has been able to fall in love multiple times.

Lakiha Spicer Was Imprisoned During Her Relationship With Tyson.

Spicer, like her long-term husband Tyson, has had run-ins with the authorities. Spicer was one of six people accused with money laundering in 2004, while she was dating Tyson.

According to the trial records, Spicer earned $71,000 while working as a teacher at the Sister Clara Muhammad School in Philadelphia. Faridah Ali, Lakiha’s mother, was previously the school’s Assistant Director of Education.

The entire procedure of obtaining the money had been a ruse from the start. The fund was established with the intention of providing adult education courses and employment training. Spicer’s own brother, Azheem Spicer, was also involved in the plan. After finding her guilty, the court charged Spicer with two counts of conspiracy, four counts of mail fraud, and one count of theft involving federally funded programs. One count of making false statements was also included in the indictment. According to some estimates, Tyson’s wife might have faced up to 105 years in prison at the time.

During her incarceration, Lakiha was pregnant with Mike Tyson’s child.

A week before her prison term began, Lakiha discovered she was pregnant with Mike’s child. So Spicer was pregnant the entire time she was imprisoned. Lakiha had her and Tyson’s baby soon after she was released from prison. Milan, the child/daughter of Kid Dynamite and Kiki, was born on December 25, 2008.

Milan, Spicer and Tyson’s daughter, is now 14 years old and, according to insiders, is pursuing a tennis career. In truth, Patrick Mourotoglou is currently in charge of Milan. He was also the trainer for Venus and Serena Williams.

Milan has already competed in various junior tournaments, including the United States Tennis Association tournament in February 2021. Her father, Mike, was also in attendance.

Spicer and Tyson married in 2009, shortly after Tyson had lost his daughter.

Tyson and Spicer tied the knot on June 6, 2009. This was the year after Lakiha got released from prison. Spicer was not allowed to reside under the same roof as Mike after her her sentence was over. This was due to their individual convictions.

However, after a few months, Spicer and the now 56-year-old boxer married in Las Vegas. The wedding ceremony was held at the La Bella Wedding Chapel.

However, the wedding did not take place at the appropriate time. Tyson had lost his four-year-old daughter, Exodus, in a terrible treadmill accident two weeks before. She was Mike’s daughter from a previous relationship with Sol Xochitl. Miguel Leon Tyson, Ramsey Tyson, Mikey Lorna Tyson, Amir Tyson, Morocco Tyson, and Milan Tyson are among the six children of the Fort Greene native.

Many believe Tyson and Spicer’s bond grew stronger following the latter’s release from prison, as both of them were in their lowest points at the time. Tyson had recently lost a baby and was also battling heroin addiction.

Tyson had no desire to marry Lakiha Spicer.

Even after Spicer had completed her sentence, she was unable to meet with Tyson for the reasons stated above. Furthermore, Tyson has stated that he did not consider taking care of a woman or making a commitment during those times.

He, on the other hand, claims that it was also something he desired. Tyson states in his eponymous documentary that when he and Spicer were living apart, he wanted to be courageous, have a family, and respect and be devoted to a lady. As a result, he eventually married Lakiha and has been her spouse ever since.

Spicer has one more child/son with Mike, in addition to Milan. Morocco Elijah Tyson is his name, and he was born on January 25, 2011. According to public records, Lakiha and Tyson live in Henderson, a mile distant from Las Vegas. In 2016, they paid $2.5 million for their property.
