The program will air two new episodes each week. On August 19 at 12 a.m. GMT, Making the Cut Season 3 will be accessible on Amazon.com. Also, the show debuted its official trailer on July 28. It featured some high-end outfits created by fashion entrepreneurs as well as some intriguing conflict among the judges.
Entrepreneurs will collaborate weekly on Making the Cut Season 3 to create stunning runway outfits for the judges to evaluate. The most intriguing aspect of the event is that viewers will be able to shop for the winning clothes if they like them because they will be made available on Amazon in limited editions immediately away.
According to the website for the program, “Season Three will highlight a new group of ten entrepreneurs and designers from across the world who are eager to take their burgeoning businesses to the next level and become the latest worldwide hit.”
“The series winner will receive mentorship from Amazon Fashion and $1 million to invest in their business. The winner will also have the opportunity to debut their current brands on Amazon Fashion and create an exclusive co-brand with the retailer.
What does Making the Cut look like?
Making the Cut, in contrast to earlier catwalk displays, emphasizes the process through which aspiring designers create their “looks.” Also, they will need to create two looks: a “runway look” and a “accessible look.”
They must present their attire on the catwalk each week, which will be surrounded by beautiful Los Angeles surroundings. Based on their efforts, the judges will select the eventual winner, who will get $1 million and further opportunities to promote their brand in the fashion business.
The description of the program notes that it will also include “new brand collaborations, including an activewear challenge with iconic brand Champion, and expanded collections from each week’s winning designers, giving fans and customers even more opportunities to shop in Amazon Fashion’s Making the Cut store.”
The new season will also feature several iconic Los Angeles locations, like Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, Vasquez Rocks’ distinctive desert landscape, and a rooftop with sweeping views of the city’s cityscape in Downtown LA.
Also, the competition will be judged by Jeremy Scott, the creative director of Moschino and a fashion pop phenomenon, and Nicole Richie, the creative director of House of Harlow 1960.
Throughout the evening, cameo appearances will be made by pop artists Chloe x Halle, A-List stylist Jason Bolden, creator TikToker, and model Wisdom Kaye. Sara Rea, Sue Kinkead, Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, and Jennifer Love are the executive producers of the show. It is being made by Hello Sunshine and Amazon Studios.
