NBC’s American Song Contest has taken over television due to its innovative concept. On April 11, American Music Content will broadcast its subsequent episode.
The event on Monday will feature 11 fresh vocalists. One of them is Stela Cole, a spokesperson for Georgia. After sustaining a sporting injury, she started creating songs. She will sing her own song DIY on the show.
There are 56 competitors in the American Song Contest from different states around the country. These competitors, who include both well-known and obscure performers, will sing original songs in an effort to win the nation’s support. The music contest’s judges will be Snoop Dog and Kelly Clarkson.
All 50 states, five U.S. territories, and the nation’s capital will compete live for the title of “Best Original Song” in the “American Song Contest,” which will also feature performances of original music. One outstanding soloist, duet, DJ, or band will represent each region and perform a brand-new, original song that showcases the diversity of American music.
The performers compete in three rounds of the live competition: qualifying rounds, semifinal rounds, and the grand final, where one state or territory will be declared the winner.
Atlanta singer Stela Cole, 24, received her diploma from Starrs Mill High School in 2016. She was a Peachtree City soccer player growing up. She did, however, get a serious back injury that prevented her from walking for a year. Her immobility sparked a passion for singing. In an interview, she said:
She remarked, “I started writing songs on the piano, being really miserable and angsty and not knowing what I wanted to accomplish with my life.”
Stela was a blossoming songwriter while attending Belmont University in Nashville. But when she met her future manager in college, who had taught her everything she knew about the procedure, she was able to learn how to write songs appropriately.
She debuted in 2018 with the song You F O, which leading entertainment news outlets dubbed “addictive” and said that Stela Cole “will utterly shatter your mind.” She did, however, sign a record deal with RCA Records in 2018, but the arrangement was just temporary.
After publishing Woman of the Hour in 2020, Cole shot to internet fame, which sparked her rapid ascent. She currently has 500,000 social media followers and one million monthly listeners. The native Californian is pleased with herself for attracting a sizable fan base on her own.
The vocalist for I Shot Cupid is also much influenced by Brenda Lee, Diana Ross, OutKast, and doo-wop. On April 11, 2022, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., viewers may watch the American Song Contest on NBC. The following day, viewers can watch it on Peacock.
