Three new disguised celebrities who competed for a spot in the next round were unveiled to the public this week. Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke made a comeback to the judging panel. Ken Jeong was unable to attend the panel this week because he tested positive for Covid-19.
Joel McHale, the star of the LEGO Masters, took his place as a judge on The Masked Singer. Leslie Jordan, a late actor, was also invited to participate as a panelist.
Leslie made his final appearance on television before passing away in October 2022. The three new masked superstars that sang their hearts out this week with the theme “Hall of Fame” were “The Gopher,” “The Bride,” and “The Venus Fly Trap.”
Three vocalists performed, but only one advanced to the next stage. The Bride was declared the season 8 champion of The Masked Singer this week after receiving the most judge votes and wowing them.
Although The Bride’s identity was never revealed, based on the hints that were made public, people think they know who the famous person hiding behind the mask is. Many fans have conjectured that Canadian professional wrestler Chris Jericho will be The Masked Singer’s Bride.
Many think Chris Jericho will play the Bride on The Masked Singer season 8 because of his “raspy voice.”
Fans confirmed that Chris Jericho is the man wearing the Bride’s mask on Twitter, citing the available proof and his voice. While some viewers were dubious about the bride’s identity, they rapidly accepted that Jericho was the bride of The Masked Singer idea.
Before their performance, The Bride gave a sneak peek of themselves in a video montage. The clues package states:
“Tonight is Hall of Fame Night, and while everyone is here, I pledge to rock. Normally I tell cheerful stories, but let me explain how I ended myself alone at this junkyard wedding. I like smashing things, I travel the country selling out stadiums, and I have a harsh mentality.
The bride continued, saying:
I have a reputation for getting caught up in some of the messiest feuds. I traveled alone and came to this place to learn. Fans of “The Masked Singer,” take on a new commitment. So, tonight is the bride’s arrival!
Among the visual cues in their video montage were a snake, a rock and roll hand signal, a rose, a globe with a crown, a man wearing two pins, and a musical note sign. During their performance, The Bride sang Walk the Moon’s Shut Up and Dance.
The candidate stated that they are a “take-action” bride who doesn’t mind being the “hero,” among other things and that the onstage hint for the Bride was the words “Action Hero.” The judges had predicted Whitesnake, Steven Seagal, Carrot Top, or David Coverdale. Fans will have to wait to find out whether their predictions were accurate since The Bride has advanced to the next round.
