Alex Cooper, the popular Call Her Daddy podcast host, whose real name is Alexandra, became embroiled in a scandal in August 2021 after she was caught faking her Instagram images. Cooper caused the situation by sharing a modified version of a photo from her Las Vegas birthday trip on August 21, 2021.
But, of course, no one would have noticed the changes if Lauren hadn’t submitted the identical photo unaltered to a photo dump. Observant viewers immediately noticed the inconsistencies and compared the two photos.
Others criticized the social media influencer for promoting unrealistic body standards. They even charged her with deterring individuals from submitting their photographs.
Thankfully, a number of her followers sympathized with her and pointed out that all women feel pushed to alter their photographs before uploading them to social media.
Cooper remained mute on the subject of her decision to manipulate her photographs until she ultimately broke her silence months later.

Cooper highlighted the photographs that exposed her Photoshopping in an episode of her podcast titled “I Got Caught Photoshopping” dated September 22, 2021.
The accomplished broadcaster recalls how happy she was throughout her entire birthday celebration with family and friends. She described feeling beautiful and at peace as a human being. As soon as she saw herself in photographs, however, she grew unsatisfied with her appearance.
Before posting the shot to Instagram, she used the editing program FaceTune to give herself an hourglass figure. Unfortunately, the podcaster awoke to hateful comments the following day.
She immediately deleted the photographs and avoided seeing videos with critical content and harsh remarks. Cooper reported that she has not used TikTok since the occurrence.
However, the 27-year-old later declared that the situation was an intervention for her, adding that she would never again edit images for her social media profiles.

Cooper denied having cosmetic surgery and underlined that their podcast’s cover image was modified. She also confirmed the Kylie Jenner lip challenge just before the shot but claimed that her lips did not appear like that in reality.
