Young Rock Season 3 Episode 3 will air on NBC on Friday, November 18 at 8:30 p.m. EST. Dawnn Lewis will play Prime Minister Angela Honig in the episode titled On the Ropes. The following is his official character description:
“Although she is a strong leader and a tough negotiator, her lifelong passion for professional wrestling may be the key to finding common ground in a current diplomatic issue.”
Honig is the newly-elected mayor of the coffee-rich town of Gjelghiughm, and her timeline begins in 2033. She will also appear in the fourth episode of the show, Night of the Chi-Chis.

Dawnn Lewis previously appeared in another NBC comedy, A Different World. From September 24, 1987, to July 9, 1993, Bill Cosby produced the comedy, which aired for six seasons. Lewis’ character, Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor, was a regular from season 1 to season 5. In addition to starring in the show, Lewis co-wrote the theme song with Bill Cosby and Stu Gardner.
