The 93-year-old actress revealed to Fox News Digital during a promotion for her new book, Middle of the Rainbow, that she and Daniels struggled as a couple after marrying in 1951. "I guess it was an open marriage at first, but it was really difficult. That did not go so well. And it was a time when people did such things. It was at a time in New York when there was a lot of s*x and a lot of people doing all kinds of things - it was extremely free." She went on to say that their "lack of commitment" in their marriage was "not healthy." "Any violation, any adulterous incident, there was a lot of grief associated with it."
